DJ Berk has a seemingly endless amount of records visible at the connect beats studio. Pushin' D&B on WESU FM for the past ten years, and performing at venues here and abroad, Berk is a force to be reckoned with.
As an artist, DJ Berk explores the creative side of turntabilism and writing music, and he blends them with elements of contemporary DJ style. As Berk puts it
"I take the electronic music from my roots and take turntabilism and hip hop, & mix these styles together. I like to perform live and connect with the crowd."
Berk has been involved in the electronic music scene for over a decade. He has run successful nights like The ButtonWood Tree and Evolution Project. At the same time DJ Berk ran NE TEMPO, a radio show featuring electronic music. This experience brought Berk to the studio to scratch records & be "...very excited about putting out music that rocks."
